A financial history of the UK Water Industry since privatization

A research project dedicated to gathering sufficient evidence to be able to answer, with specificity, two questions:

Were dividends taken from regulated water utilities reasonable?

Was investment in infrastructure sufficient?

The project comprises a database of financial statements of

regulated water utilities and their parent companies since privatisation.

Draft interim findings will be posted for review and discussion as they are written.
